For a free ChessBrain account, we will collect the following information to create and authenticate your account:

  • Usernames
  • Passwords
  • Name

If you sign up using Google, we may receive your profile picture from your Google account.

For a pro/premium ChessBrain subscription, we will collect the following information to authenticate and verify your purchase:

  • Billing addresses
  • Subscription duration
  • Transaction amount

2. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Within certain jurisdictions, information such as race, ethnic origin, sexuality, and religious beliefs is considered sensitive information. ChessBrain does not collect or process sensitive personal information.

3. INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED

In short: Some information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, and device characteristics, is automatically collected when you use ChessBrain.

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect certain information.

The information collected inside the log files and device data includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, type of browser, Internet Service Provider, date/time stamp, pages and files viewed, country, referring URLs, and other actions you take such as which features you use. This information is used for maintaining the security/operations of our service, and the internal analytics of ChessBrain.
